Meeting minutes

Attendees

Sarah Okafor (Product), James Reed (Eng), Diego Salas (Platform)

Discussion

Launch date reviewed against the open billing defect. Team agreed the two ship together rather than decoupling the release.

Outcome

Launch moves one week; billing fix rides the same release.

For meetings

What Verbato writes from a meeting.

The documents a meeting owes you — every one yours to adjust.

Meeting minutes

Attendees, discussion, outcome — the record worth filing.

Decisions log

What was decided, one line each.

Action items

Who owes what, by when — with next week's agenda from the same recording.

The one you define

There’s no menu — describe your document once and it’s a type like any other.

The proof — a real recording, the real documents

A real meeting — and the minutes Verbato wrote from it.

Nobody takes notes; everybody gets them. The transcript keeps who said what; the documents make it worth rereading.

Meeting minutes

Attendees

Sarah Okafor (Product), James Reed (Eng), Diego Salas (Platform)

Discussion

Launch date reviewed against the open billing defect. Team agreed the two ship together rather than decoupling the release.

Outcome

Launch moves one week; billing fix rides the same release.

The mechanism

From call to filed minutes.

01

Record the meeting

Zoom, Teams, Meet or a phone in the room — if you have the recording file, it works.

02

It becomes the verbatim record

Word for word, each speaker told apart.

03

The minutes write themselves

Minutes, decisions and action items in your shape — share them once you've read them.

A correction you confirm applies from the next meeting on — and you can undo any of them.

Conduct, not badges

A meeting is not content.

Deleted fast, provably, never fed to a model to learn from — and never sold. The transcript stays verbatim, so “what was actually decided” has an answer.

  • Deleted in 7 days by default — recording, transcript and documents together.
  • Deletion leaves a receipt you can check, not take on faith.
  • Never used to train or improve AI models — ours or anyone else’s.
  • Delete everything, any time, on demand.

Hours are the only meter.

Documents, corrections and exports are never counted — you choose hours, everything else is included. There’s a free tier, no card.

The short answers

Fair questions.

Does it work with Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?

Yes — record with your call app or a phone in the room, then upload the file or paste a link. If you have a recording, Verbato can transcribe it.

Does it capture action items with owners?

Yes. The action items come back with who owes what — and because the verbatim transcript sits beside them, you can check any item against what was actually said.

Can I find what a meeting decided weeks later?

Yes — the decisions log is one line per decision, and full-text search works across all your transcripts. That pricing discussion from last Tuesday is findable.

What happens to the recordings?

By default they're deleted after 7 days — keep a project longer when you need to — every deletion writes you a receipt, and nothing you record is used to train AI models.
