Verbato and Castmagic, side by side

Castmagic turns audio and video into content to publish: show notes, posts, newsletters, clips. Verbato transcribes a recording and writes the documents you define from it, for podcasters and for five professions.

Verbato publishes this comparison. Every fact about Castmagic is what Castmagic's own pages said on 28 October 2026, each linked under Sources. No figure of Castmagic's is given, and Verbato's price is on the pricing page.

Which one fits

Castmagic fits if you publish. It turns episodes and videos into show notes, social posts, newsletters, blog articles and captioned clips, pulls each new episode from your feed, translates the transcript, and gives a team shared spaces with approvals.

Verbato fits if you want the documents of your work as well as of your show: show notes, chapters and posts for a podcast, and the notes, reports and letters of a doctor, therapist, veterinarian, lawyer or researcher, in the language of the recording, with the word-for-word transcript beside each one. Verbato makes no clips or video.
